Here is a list of 6 Fun outdoor bars in Phoenix. We know there are quite a few more, but Hey, it’s a beginning.
Let’s start with The Perch Brewery and Pub in Historic downtown Chandler. The brewery is not only home to 40 craft beers on tap, with a superb selection of perch beers, The Perch also has over 50 tropical rescue birds. They have a few Perch brews that we strongly recommend. The Perch Bubba pale is a delicious ale that is close to a session brew, goes down easy, a very tasty pale ale. The Perch Doyle’s Extra Stout is a little drier than most American stouts, still delivering a sweet creamy taste with a long-lasting head.
Skydeck, located in the Clarendon Hotel in midtown Phoenix offers fantastic views of downtown Phoenix and the surrounding mountains. The Skydeck also offers concerts, bingo, and Burlesque shows. Skydeck is currently under renovation but should be reopening soon.
We have a thing for the Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company. They have two locations, one in Downtown Phoenix, and the other in Gilbert, we will be reviewing the Gilbert location. They have some delicious, handcrafted artisanal brews inspired by the local beauty and diverse environment of Arizona. The owner’s love for Arizona inspires the creation of their crafted beers. We enjoyed their Arizona Trail Burger with bacon, pepper jack cheese, and roasted Jalapeños and quenched our thirst with a New England IPA.
The Culinary Dropout at The Yard has a covered patio with plenty of amenities. The Culinary offers year-round climate control with misters, heaters, fans, and firepits. There is a lot of room for social distancing and roaming around while enjoying crowd favorites like the pretzel bites and provolone fondue. Enjoy It all with an ice-cold craft beer or a killer house-made cocktail. They have locations in Phoenix, Tempe, and Gilbert.
Tap That Downtown is a growing number of pubs that offer beers and wines that are self-service. You purchase the amount of money you would like to spend and then help yourself to the 30 beers that are on tap, with quite a few local brews being offered. The food is typical pub fare offering everything from Hot Pretzels or egg drop soup to their signature burger topped with peppered bacon and garlic aioli. Service was average, but as we said earlier it is really a self-serve pub.
Walter Station Brewery is located on Washington Street in Phoenix in a former fire station that was named Walter. The brewery and taproom focus on small-batch brewing and delicious gastro grub.
