Amazing experience!! Family of 5 and we absolutely loved it. We did the hotel stay and 2 day park hopper and the hotel... gave us a great deal. The park was amazing and relaxed. Not busy on a Monday/Tuesday. Caleb and Jamey were incredible guest services personnel and loved helping us find a great deal on mini figs and then letting our kids trade w them! They even helped my daughter clean up Lego pieces when she tripped. So so nice!!read more

Stayed in the hotel Saturday night. The hotel will grab your luggage while you go into the park so when the park closes... you can just walk to the hotel room. The room was ready 2 hours before scheduled. It was fun to do the scavenger hunt which is the money in the safe photo. The outdoor pool is heated but also note that if staying at the hotel you can go to the hot tub over on the castle side.read more

I was surprised by how much I actually loved this place. Last time I visited was almost 20 years ago and it has grown a... whole lot since then. Just the right amount of rides to keep your day full and lots of little shows everywhere to keep you entertained. My favorite part though was the center of the park which is a massive Lego town. I love going on the weekdays. Not as busy. So kid friendly and my kiddos can pretty much go on anything and they are 5... and 7. We got rained out last year. It was so easy to go again. The Aviator ride with the triple Decker couch was my favorite. Highly recommend this place for a day of family fun.read more

We just had the best time here! We spent two days, could possibly have used a third but man the kids loved it! (As did... the parents) the vast range of activities was more than I expected from the themed playgrounds my boys could have spent all day at to the building workshops and fun little shows to the cool rides! It was definitely a perfect time to bring the kids youngest 5 and oldest 10. They all found something amazing. The weather was a little chilly for the waterpark but we still made the best of it and the kids magically lasted an hour there. On a warmer day they could have easily spent another couple hours. The aquarium is also pretty exciting and something we could have spent more time on. Great place for families! Definitely would do again before the kids get too old.read more

Perfect for kids, but definitely not cheap. You get the best value and experience from booking in advance and staying... at one of the hotels. We stayed at the “Knights” hotel, which the kids genuinely loved. From the Wizard-themed room with a bunkbed and mini treasure hunt, to the outside entertainment on premises, there was generally always something for the kids and us to do while relaxing at the hotel.Being guest also gets you free breakfast at the buffets, which was better than most “free” (continental) breakfast options I’ve had. Other meals at the Hotels were decent as well, with my favorite being the heavily-peppered 14oz New York steak at the “Dragon’s Den”.Legoland itself changes up often enough to stay interesting, but there are always lines for everything (as one expects at a huge amusement park). Luckily, as a hotel guest, you get “early access” to the main parts of the park, which helps cut down waits at the popular rides early-on, and makes the rest of the day a bit easier. It is definitely easier to walk back to the hotel to rest, or after a long, eventful day at the park, compared to having to drive home/elsewhere.All the food and souvenirs inside the park are really expensive (but decent in quality), while the Lego sets (at least) are still MSRP.Half the water park was closed when we were there, which was unfortunate, but seems to be a seasonal-thing.The aquarium was larger than expected and pretty nice for the space available. There are also plenty of playgrounds and other things for kids to do outside of rides that don’t generally have lines.Live performances can be hit-or-miss, but our kids seemed to enjoy everything.read more

I had a wonderful experience though it rained for the first half and most of the rides were closed, I did not let that... affect the review. Later on it cleared up and we had an awesome experience, the food was a bit pricey but Smokehouse BBQ was amazing and a good portion size, I got the baked beans, Mac and Cheese, and the Taste of Texas, which was pulled pork, brisket, and a hot link! All of it was delicious! The rides were amazing, we went on the submarine ride, which had real fish, and a fun treasure hunt, the new Dino Valley roller coaster, which was a great intro to someone who has never rode a roller coaster, the carousel which is a timeless classic, and my daughter rode the horse ride in medieval area, which is 36" height requirement and minimum age of 4. Parking was good we found a spot quick and a short walk to the entrance. Overall great experience!read more

Legoland has been on my bucket list ever since it opened 25 years ago. I feel lucky that I can afford to take my kids... to experience this wonderful park with me. We had a great time exploring all things Lego! However, the ride lines were super long when we first got there, so we decided to explore the park instead of waiting in line for rides. The kids had a blast exploring the multiple playgrounds and we took multiple pictures with all the Lego builds throughout the park. We had lunch at Pizza Mia and it was alright, but a little pricey for what you get. It would have been better if the pizza had more toppings. One thing to keep in mind is that the park is cashless, which can be nice or not so nice depending on your situation. If you are from out of the country, you could rack up extra charges, but we were lucky enough to have a US credit card. In the afternoon, the lines for the rides were much more reasonable. We rode a few rides and played a few midway games, and stayed there from open to close. I would recommend that you take two days to experience everything this park has to offer. If you plan on visiting the water park as well, then you would need three days.read more

A Tuesday in mid February was the most perfect time for our first visit to Legoland! The weather was great and the park... was not too busy. We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes at any of the rides and could stay on some to ride again. The park, rides and sights were perfect for our 3.5 and 6 year old. They could do many rides by themselves and virtually all of the rides with an adult. The variety of rides they could try out was awesome. Their favourites were the Dragon Coaster and getting their Driver’s Licenses. As an adult the insane amount of legos used to build sights around the park was remarkable and awe inspiring.read more

First time experiencing Legoland and a big theme park with my young kids and we think it was really great! We stayed... two nights at the hotel and had two days at the park. It really is big enough to need two days, especially with some rides having 60+ minutes waits. Paying to get on a ride quicker is something new to me but we did not feel the need to do it. Kids need to learn to wait and snacks and fun games together can teach them the skills! From toddler, preschool and early elementary I felt like it was a great layout for all my kids to get to experience rides. The multiple play areas with slides and playgrounds is also amazing to sit and let our kids run wild in a contained area. I’d like to see more benches with back support, as a nursing mama that was difficult to find. Plenty of bathrooms spread out, could always use more family bathrooms that allow strollers to come in. As a vegan family I’d love to see more options. Even just snacks, not candy ones, that are healthy and non dairy and have no animal products in them! Thankful we could bring our own in! The app was really helpful to know wait times and directions within the park. We felt like it was a great family vacation overall!!read more

The kids loved the playgrounds, and the parents loved the clean bathrooms with kid-friendly toilets and even a little sink!We really enjoyed getting in early since we stayed in one of the hotels, and going the day after a Halloween event turned out to be awesome because we came across candy carts three times, and each time they cupped two hands together and gave us that amount of candy in the kids' hats! The underwater ride was super impressive and gave a totally different perspective to seeing the fish and Lego decorations up close. The Fairy Tale Brook was the perfect end to our day and the virtual Emmitt ride was worth waiting in line! Sunscreen, water bottles, and hand sanitizer are all essential! The artwork was amazing. However, this was my 1st time visiting, and I was so disappointed. Many of the rides were... broken. In the ninjago ride, the scoring would not register. The same was true in the Egyptian ride. There was very little presence throughout the park by staff.Disembarking the ride that resembles Disney's California soaring over California, there was no order or guidance. You were made to put your belongings in cubbies that everyone had easy access to. Guests were bumping into each other as some were slower to disembark, and some were trying to cross in front others to retrieve their belongings less they be taken. One of the food places we ate at did not stock their 2 soda fountains. As a result, the line to get your drinks was longer than the line you ordered from. There was no ice or soda in one machine, and the other ran out of many of the flavors. The rides were extremely short, shorter than usual.Staff wasn't rude, but they were also not friendly or helpful. The park itself is not arranged well. That being said, their restrooms were clean, the park setting (greenery) was very nice, and the Lego sculptures and other artworks throughout the park were amazing.read more

However, we really appreciated the fact that some areas outside had shade. For a quick bite, we got churros—the ones that were freshly made to order. They were pretty good except a little too oily. And, I was hoping the gift shops had special souvenirs that couldn’t be bought elsewhere. But, I honestly have to say that the Lego sets weren’t very unique. And sadly, Sea Life was a disappointment. Legoland is not worth the price of admission, especially if you don’t have any kids. I took my nice and nephew (ages... 6&10), and they said they had fun, but they seemed more interested in the play grounds area's more than the actual rides. The park opens at 9:30, but sections of the park were not accessible until after 10:30. It seemed like they were running behind or short staffed. Also, I took my disabled brother with me... who uses a mobility scooter to get around. The employees seemed to greatly lack the knowledge in proper procedures in offering assistance for customers that needed accommodations or assistance on getting on rides. One employee straight up yelled at my brother when he got stuck halfway down the entrance walk way...but there were no employees to tell him where he could get on the ride. Bright, cheerful, colorful, and fun! I visited with my 14 year old son, and this park is definitely geared for kids... aged 4-10. We were literally too big to go on some of the rides. We enjoyed the four rides that we did go on. We loved Miniland, but it could use more shade and has some annoying dead ends. Lots of good food options. Security line was slow to enter the park. I would have appreciated more information about attractions on the paper map. The app wasn't really helpful because the sun was too bright to see it! Took the kids here for spring break and it was awesome! The hotel has packages that include park entry. They also can... sell you the mini figure (which you can trade with any employee). We went on a Wednesday and Thursday and it wasn’t that busy. I’d avoid Friday through Sunday. The Friday we left it was as busy as we’d seen it. All the rides were fun and we never waited more that 30 mins. While they allow some food and drinks be prepared to buy food in the park. And as expected it’s $15+ per entree. Park closes at 5pm so plan accordingly. But if you are going to go stay at the hotel, it’s right at the entrance, breakfast is included too. Plus they have a bunch of Lego areas for the kids to build. A lot of entertainment and stuff after hours at the hotels too.read more

Very nice place. My kids had a great time so we went 2 days. If you have that option, then I suggest it because you... probably won't do the whole park in a day. It was very clean. The food was actually pretty good. Typical amusement park prices so expect to pay a little extra. You can bring snacks and water. The 3D (or 4D) shows are very funny so make sure to check them out. I was very disappointed that they don't have the Star Wars display anymore (no fault of theirs, $#&*@?# Disney!). We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't say anything about that. Had a decent the today with my young kids. Park is aimed for kids ( I would say 5-10). Fun atmosphere. My daughter... and son loved driving school. Park was fairly clean. The wait times were longer than posted. Food lines were long. Not a lot of sitting areas once you got your food. My biggest and probably only complaint was how slow the ride lines moved. We spent a lot of time waiting in lines. Most rides have a fairly low throughput (maybe 100 - 200 people per hour at best). There for sure is something special about Kansas City BBQ! I do not usually eat BBQ but we were meeting up with some... friends and since we had just seen a special screening of Top Gun my husband and I decided to go and at least grab a beer and soak everything this iconic bar had to offer. I saw they had burnt ends on the menu (limited amount available daily) and lucked out they had just enough for one more order left! I had never had it but have seen them on every food show I watch and thought dang they always look so good and these did not disappoint! The burnt ends were crispy, yet plump and juicy and the BBQ sauce was amazing, not too sweet and had a bit of a tang. My side of choice was the cheesy corn. It was tasty but I think next time I will try the mac and cheese. My husband got the hot link and fries, doesn’t seem too exciting but he said it was tasty. Goodness gracious great balls of fire! Of course we could not leave without having an ice cold Budweiser straight out of the bottle, just like in the movie.Compared to other restaurants (especially in the area) each menu item was decently priced and the portion sizes were good. The staff is super nice and makes you feel like you are home and part of the family. Ever since COVID hit, I have not been able to use my tickets. I've been trying to get a refund for 6 months. They were... expecting to open of course some time soon but conditions have not changed much since they've closed. In trying to get ahold of someone, they direct me to different departments that aren't even open because of being closed for COVID. So far I've been on the phone 10 mins with a repeated recording and nobody answering... I was told yesterday to call today because someone would be there. I've already sent an email that has yet to be answered. This is probably the worse experience i have ever had with a theme park. They don't even want to accommodate their guest during these trying times. I've read the policy and my situation is possible to be resolved according to it but they purposefully do not answer so they can have an excuse to not deal with customers. Thanks Legoland... This was going to be my kids and me 1st time going but now you have been added to the they don't GAF list. I'm never going to this place now!!read more

My kids love Legoland! We've visited 3 times, 2 of em were 2 day stays. Our most recent stay was in the new hotel... before Covid in early March. We got a wizards & dragon room. Kids had their own room/tv/bed & a treasure hunt.Always check out their website to see what deals they have.Park is very family oriented. A lot to see, a lot of builds thru out the park.Food is very bland & pricey, so I suggest pack lots of snacks. A lot of play areas thru out park, one of my kids favorite is the Wood one, I forget the name lol. They have lego play areas too for the kids while the parents hold their place in line. Like I said very family oriented. Not too big of a park either.read more

Stayed at the legoland california. We had the kingdom them room. The room was clean and roomy. Very nice decorations.... Pool area was great too. Was able to swim at both pools. The one in the castle hotel is a little bigger. The adhere to all covid regulations. Which felt safe. Lifeguards were very attentive to the safety of the pool. They do have the skyline open for take out or outside in the patio. But there is alot of options outside the hotel. Also, the miniland is open. Only complaint is the wifi. Didnt like that we had to sign up for some marketing company in order to receive free wifi. Overall me and my family had a fun great stay. By the way...the bed is sooo comfortableread more

I made a reservation online 2 1/2 weeks prior to my visit. I wasn't expecting to have a close relative become infected... with Covid. I called the hotel immediately and explained my situation and tried to cancel my booking (since I had paid in advance $500) but they informed me that I cannot cancel my stay, only reschedule to another date. Which I feel in these trying times that policy is absolutely ridiculous!! Company should be a little more understanding and flexible with their cancellation policy, especially in this difficult time we are all going through. I was hoping to spend a few days of relaxation with my family, was not expecting to encounter this situation, but I'am now more stressed out then ever since I apparently just "lost" $500!read more

Even with the covid situation happening Legoland is doing the best they can. Since there is no manual on how to deal... with this covid situation I'm impressed with how Legoland is handling the situation. What doesn't help them is the Karen's and Kyle's complaining about everything because they are assuming everything is back to normal. Keep up the good work and you guys will find your rhythm.read more

The hotel and big shop is the only spots you can go for now. Stayed a night to relax, foods are available via order by... net or phone. No restaurants at this time. Social distancing is good to go. Safety implementations thumbs up. The only complain i have is the guest relations at the front desk. Line is too long , wait time is not good for checking in at the hotel. They can easily fix it by opening all 3 desk, safety distance is getting implemented anyway.read more

I went back in August 2019 with my friend and her kids. We stayed at the Legoland Castle hotel and it was AMAZING! The... hotel itself was so interactive, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I found myself ordering dessert after the kids went to bed and the cheesecake was the best I've ever had. I am a pastry chef, and I was in awe at the detail in every meal. The park is magical with the same cleanliness and wholesome vibe you'd expect from a major California theme park.read more

I regret so much giving Legoland almost $1500 that I can’t even use right now. No refunds... nothing. I can’t get my... money back and use it on something else for my son’s birthday. I have no idea when we can even spend the “voucher” we were given. Nobody at Legoland vacations wants to help during this crisis/pandemic. You’d think they’d be more compassionate and not so greedy. This has just been so discouraging. I could have really used that money back. 😞read more

Legoland was the most incredible experience! Every staff member was dedicated to making the kids feel immersed in a... special world. Renata noticed my son was trading in a special Batman LEGO figure, so she took our family into the LEGO making space and showed him how legos are made and gave him special badges. As well he got to trade his special Batman for a different special figure! She made his birthday spectacular! As well we stayed in the adventure themed hotel, which was so fun and so easy! The “king” hosting the evening events was hilarious. This experience is worth every penny!!read more

Legoland California Hotel was great! Our kids had a great time and there is so much to do to keep them busy and tire... them out. Such a fun experience every time and the price is definitely worth it! It's amazing for kids of all ages. We go several... times every year. My kids (7 and 8 years old) would rather go here any time over Disneyland. You could probably explore the whole park in 2 days. It's crowded but not to the point where you're bumping into people everywhere you go and we've never had to wait more than 45 min or 1 hour to get on a ride. Most of the rides are small but some of them have age limits (must be at least 6 years ol to ride) and some don't allow parents to get on. It's not bad though because you can keep an eye on your kids at all times. There's also several little play areas for kids to play in and some of the rides have Lego areas for the kids to play with while they wait. Also, all the food is amazing! I love their apple fries. And if you can afford it, staying at the Legoland hotel or the Castle hotel just adds to the whole experience.read more

I have a lot to say about Legoland! Some good, some not so much. First, it was fun to visit... But only once and that's... all you'll ever need in your life!! I feel like most people have said the same thing. I really was amazed at the creativity in rides and the over all look of the park. I would say the rides were mostly geared towards a younger crowd. We also waited FOREVER in each line! The very best thing about Legoland was the Apple fries! I want to go back just for them! My kids said, "We liked going, but didn't LOVE going to Legoland." Do take that for what it's worth.read more
