I was promise one price over the phone and a different price when I wasted gas driving there. The guy over the phone was receptive and helpful. The guy that was at the store didn’t honor the price of what the other guy said over the phone. Being deceitful is not good business practice. Or maybe I just wasn’t their “type of customer” not sure what it was but good business practice would be honoring your price that was given prior to me showing up.. basically wasted time and money. Took it to another shop in Bonita and paid less than half the price..
Amber was a terrible customer service representative. She charged me $40 for 30 minutes on one bike and now had to go back and correct her very bad customer service. And I don't know if they have a permit to take up 10 parking spots for just bikes.
We were there on a Friday. The two men that were working there: one white, one black. The black gentleman that was helping us was rude and monotone. It seemed he had a bad day, and I saw him treat other customers very rude as well that day.We rented with them before and had no problems with the other employees. These 2 seemed that they did not want to be at work and do not care how they treat their customers. It's so sad that these employees acted the way they did.
Great experience. Super easy and decently affordable. $35 for a tandem bike for four hours with a bike lock. Biked the 3 miles to Coronado Hotel and chilled on the beach! Great staff
Fast service, helpful staff, great prices and a wonderful ride. They have so many options to choose from in terms of bike choices. Definitely recommended!!
This is a great place to rent a bike in Coronado* they have many options to pick from. Great staff that are friendly and efficient. You can take the recommended route under th Coronado Bridge. You may even bike all the way to the end of Silver Strand and back. It was quite a relaxing, enjoyable, scenic ride. Magnificent views of the ocean and Coronado are just breathtaking.
Took the family around Coronado on bikes, and it was so relaxing and nice. Hollands has bikes that are very well maintained, and excellent customer service. Prices were very reasonable, and I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of experience level.
Used them based on owner reviews and wasn't disappointed! Walked up and asked for recommendations, 10 minutes later, we were riding. Prices were extremely fair. Customer service was top-notch! Made a new family memory. Thank you.
One of the more fun things we did in California. It was nice to just rent a bike and tour around the island. The warm sun in your face. Would highly recommend.
nice staff, fun experience. this was our second time renting here and it was amazing just like the last. priced really well. will return when we come back to cali.
Fast and easy, multiple choices. I was able to decide in the end if I was going to stay anytime between one hour or half a day. They charged me pro-rated 1:45, which was very flexible. Helmet, basket and locks included.
This is a great place to rent a bike for your exploration of Coronado. They have a great selection of well maintained bikes, including some really nice e-bikes. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
We’ve rented cruisers and electric bikes from Holland! The staff are so helpful and the bikes have been fabulous!!!! Friends were in this weekend and we rented three e bikes. Joel took so much time in showing all of us how to operate all options!!! Great place to rent!!!! Treat you like respected family!!!
Great place to rent bikes. The process is quick and easy. No hassle. I’ve rented here multiple times and never had a problem with the bikes. Make sure and get the bikes with the gears.
Hands down one of my favorite experiences in San Diego! My wife and I have made it a monthly date to bike Coronado, such a great bike rental shop! Highly recommended
Excellent customer service; they had a bike in stock that came with excellent reviews. I made the purchase. To first time shoppers I highly recommend this shop.
Got the two-seater, the ride was so much fun. I thought I would only go for an hour and ended up doing 2 hours. The staff is so friendly and helpful. And we thought cars would zoom around us but they were very respectful, even though we were required to drive in the bike lane. Just recommend doing a quick stretch before you start.
My special needs son and I have been getting bikes to ride from Holland Bikes for years. They are always kind and courteous and accommodating.. They are the absolute best place to rent bikes. 5 stars!!
We had an equipment malfunction halfway thru our ride and the manager on a very business Sunday afternoon 3/14/21 was absolutely awesome in taking care of the problem! Thank U — because of his customer service, we would recommend Holland’s Bikes.
El Indio would be considered a very casual eaterie where you can find dine-in, carry out, or have food delivered. Nestled between Old Town, Mission Hills and Hillcrest. A mile from the airport and a hop, skip and jump to Little Italy. I would consider it a maybe place to eat, although tourists can't resist. Yet, for those trying Mexican food the first time or for entry level palettes, El Indio serves the purpose.I arrived on a Tuesday evening an hour before closing and it was busy. I only waited 7 minutes for the food which was hot not lukewarm upon receipt. The food was actually decent tonight. I've been eating here for more than a decade. I stopped eating here 4 years ago because the food or cooks were subpar. I had a ravenous appetite and wanted a tamale. One benefit of eating here is that the tamales are available all year round and not just Christmas. On the downside, the tamales would be addicting with waaaay less masa. My goodness. Tamales are supposed to have delicate amount of masa with plentiful filling. Well, here it is the reverse. Nonetheless, I always get my tamale prepared wet with cheese. Essentially the masa becomes moistened and drowned with sauce. I ordered the combination plate with chicken enchilada and chili and chicken tamale. The combo is served with rice and beans and a few of the El Indio renowned chips. In my opinion I would rather eat at a restaurant rather than El Indio mainly because some of El Indio dish prices are more than restaurant prices minus the gratuity. I remember back in the day when El Indio was very reasonable and the quality of food matched the value of the price. Customers always take the brunt when restaurant rents increase. If you want a quick bite to eat and it's Mexican food and you are in the area I would say, yes, try it out but if you're actually looking for a Mexican restaurant to explore and sit down and have conversation and comfortability then I would say there's many other choices in San Diego.AmenitiesSelf serve fresh salsaIndoor and outdoor no heat patio seating.Gender neutral restroomsWheelchair accessibleBathroom code on receiptFreshly made chips with (paprika/chili powder seasoning) my guess and very goodAmple food choices which are accommodating to non-meat and meat eatersSelf serve drinks-Jamaica is deliciousness, but not authenticSeveral forms of paymentBeer and limited premixed machine margaritas may be an optionCustomer service continues to be a highlight even when it is busy-which it usually is.
Phenomenal service center. They're quick, professional and stand by their work. If you're in Coronado and are looking for a great bike shop, this place is well worth your time and money.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They do a very nice job of making sure the bikes are cleaned properly and provide bike baskets/bike locks as well. The prices are very reasonable.
Amazing bike rental group! The employee and extremely nice and helpful and more than enough bikes available to the public and very clean and the prices are very cheap and bikes are in great condition and runs like a new bike
Made our trip to Coronado an absolute blast! We will be back! Thank you for the adventure! I had no idea the island was so biking friendly. Great way to experience the island!
Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I rented a little kid trailer and then later a child sized bike. Both were in near new condition and we experienced no issues on our ride. Reasonable prices considering where we were. Would recommend for your stay on Coranado island.
They were so great! We were able to find parking in their lot just before 10am on a spring Saturday with perfect weather. They got 4 of us fitted on bikes with no wait in under 10 minutes. And they provided suggestions for where we could go and stop along the way. Love that they don't nickel and dime you for baskets and locks like Rays Rental did to us in Mission Beach. They were so helpful in answering our questions - truly great customer service!
