Got the two-seater, the ride was so much fun. I thought I would only go for an hour and ended up doing 2 hours. The... staff is so friendly and helpful. And we thought cars would zoom around us but they were very respectful, even though we were required to drive in the bike lane. Just recommend doing a quick stretch before you start.read more

All types of cool bikes to enjoy America's Finest City. If you prefer to relax while others pedal then the surrey would... be a great choice. Yet, you must have lung strength and gusto because eventually pedaler #2 gives up. Perhaps you're an individualist and want to ride your own wheels-there's a beach cruiser for you. Or your pre-teen wants to exude their independence, there's a bike for them as well. Want to be romantic and rent a tandem bike? Holland's got you covered. At least 8 bike choices for any enthusiast. Oh yeah and millennials want to flash with electric bikes, well get on board. The prices are freakin' unbelievable. Like, 10 bucks an hour or 50 bucks for the day?? GET OUT OF HERE.Holland's provides complimentary helmets, baskets and key locks. Way cool for families on a budget.Although it's true that there is always something to do in San Diego, renting bikes, riding on the beach and sharing social time, is truly the shiznit.I'm a local and rent several times a year. I usually rent the bike while my kiddo skateboards, roller skates or rents a bike with the cool bell attached, ding ding. We listen to 70's or underground hip hop music with my blown out JBL. But we live the dream of fresh air and freedom. Much appreciated.Good to know:Best "tourist activity" to explore Coronado-rent for the the dayFirst come, first serveCheapest hourly and daily bike rentalTypically mid-afternoon (1-4) bikes could be scarce, especially in summer.Thank you Holland for keeping prices fair and reasonable during these trying times and supporting outdoor activities for families at affordable prices. You matter to the community.Review before a year agoHave a blast with the family and rent a bicycle or a surrey from 2-6 people. I consider this outing cheap for an hour. 1.5 hours will be optimum which could include a quick bite or 20 minute coffee break.A 2- mile ride along the boardwalk is an awe-inspiring savoir-faire.Adult and child size bicycles are available. A surrey of 6 may appear safe but you got to have stamina and strength. If it's too many folk or too much weight it may become arduous instead of fun.savoir faire.Actually the best activity pre-pandemic, in-pandemic and surely to bless any family onward in-time.I hope Holland Bikes continues to be prosperous.read more

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I rented a little kid trailer and then later a child sized bike. Both were in... near new condition and we experienced no issues on our ride. Reasonable prices considering where we were. Would recommend for your stay on Coranado island.read more

They were so great! We were able to find parking in their lot just before 10am on a spring Saturday with perfect... weather. They got 4 of us fitted on bikes with no wait in under 10 minutes. And they provided suggestions for where we could go and stop along the way. Love that they don't nickel and dime you for baskets and locks like Rays Rental did to us in Mission Beach. They were so helpful in answering our questions - truly great customer service!read more
